Blogaversary

Okay, so technically January 19 was my first blogiversary.  I'm bad with dates.  It's hard to beleive it's been a year already.  In that year I became a wheel spinner, and a published author, participated in NaNoWriMo and the Knitting Olympics and had a total blast.  Contest time.  Leave me a comment.  I'll select one at random and the person selected will receive this hat.  Pattern:  One skein Noro hat Yarn:  Noro Kureyon color 88 Thanks for reading, commenting, and e-mailing me this last year.  I had fun. In other news, I finished these socks. The pattern is available over on the sock knitalong page.  The yarn is Step.  The legs are long and the stripes are wide and I was convinced I'd run out of yarn if I skipped down to make them identical.  I shouldn't have worried.  Step has very generous yardage and theres is ample yarn left over.  I'll know for next time. I need to use a get out of jail free card.  I thought I'd ordered angora.  I ordered from a place called "Angora Farms". The website kept going on about how they specialized in angora yarn.  I really thought it was angora.  It's merino.  I checked and the description of the yarn does say 100% merino so my goof.  It's a wonderful yarn and I will use it, but it's not allowed in the rules so one demerit for me.
