Sorry for the mixup. This one should work.
The Video Podcast that teaches you how to knit.
In this video we examine lace knitting by starting a basic lace scarf.
I mention a few upcoming projects. The first is the Secret of the Stole II Yahoo Group and the other is the Seven Deadly S(p)ins Yarn Club.
We finish decreasing the toes and we kitchener them closed. We’re done with socks. Next time, a lace scarf.
This is an increase method that is just about invisible. It is an alternate to the Make 1 increase.
Here is a video showing how to cast on and begin knitting around with double pointed needles
In this episode we pick up the gusset of our sock and get ready to knit the foot.
The link to the sock of the month club I spoke of is here, but there are many more like it out there. I favor this one because the patterns are so varied and you learn so many techniques.
The link to Sockin’ it to Maggie is here.
In this episode we turn the heel and get ready to pick up the gusset.
I just wanted to point out a few things about the heel flap.

First, the heel flap should feel thicker, denser than the rest of the sock.
Second, you will see notable stitches where the slipped stitch comes forward and the knit stitch recedes.

Third the knit stitches will look shorter than the slipped stitches, because they are worked over two rows to the slip stitch being worked over one.
There are three ways to check which you’re supposed to do next, slip or knit if you’ve put your knitting down mid-row.
