Knitting Step By Step episode 9 — Slip Slip Knit
In this episode we talk about our second decrease method, the slip slip knit. We show you the kitchener stitch to graft closed the top of the mitten. We also show you how to make your thumb stitches live, pick up stitches to get the thumb going.
For our iTunes viewers, we’re working on the problem with being able to transfer to the Video iPod. Make sure you are getting the files with the extension of m4v. That should resolve it for you. I’ll be converting the earlier files as soon as I can figure out how to do that without messing up the order on the feed. If you want to do that with your own files, go into iTunes, click on the file and click on Advanced->Convert Selection for iPod.

Hi,
I just watched your episode on itunes. You make it look so easy. I hope someday to be able to knit as well. I am a beginner spinner, and you asked if anyone would like to see an intro to spinning podcast. I vote yes, please. I have a spinning wheel but no expertise as yet. Thick, thin, and everything in between. I’d love to see how it’s done right. Thanks for asking.

Hi…
How exactly do you download the videos?
They’re on my computer, but they only play with Windows Media Player.
I was interested in getting them on my iPod, but I haven’t figured out how to.
